DJINN
The
director of feature film "Return to Pontianak" and
the winner of the 1998 Singapore International Film Festival's
Best short film award for his film "By the Dawn's Early
Rise". Djinn has lived and worked in the United States
for the past five years in films and documentaries. He was
also an assistant director on one of Singapore's first feature
films in the nineties, "Bugis Street". Prior to
this, he was an executive Officer for the promotion of the
film, music and design industry at the Economic and Development
Board of Singapore.

JUAN
FOO
Juan
has been in the business of film production for over five
years, involved in numerous film projects in capacities ranging
from technical crew to producing and developing film and TV
projects. Last year, he produced a set of 3 telemovies entitled
"Recital of Being" under the first out-sourcing
production initiative by Singapore broadcaster Mediacorp's
TCS 8. He was also the associate producer on one of Singapore's
first Mandarin feature films "The Road Less Traveled".
Prior to this, Juan help set up and headed the Singapore representative
office of notable Japanese animation company A.I.C. Inc, known
for animated hits like Sol Bianca, Armitage and Tenchi Muyo

DUNCAN
JEPSON
Duncan
is a Hong Kong-based lawyer with a gift for screenwriting
and journalism. He spent 5 years running London Oriental,
his own investment consultancy business in China. Duncan is
no stranger to the film business. He had a stint with BBC
TV in Yorkshire after which he co-founded with Pete Tombs
one of Britian's foremost cult film video distribution companies,
Pagan Films.

HIEP
THI LE
Hiep
is best known for her work in Oliver Stone's "Heaven
and Earth" in which she played the lead, Le Ly. Since
then, Hiep has been in a variety of movies including Singapore's
"Bugis Street", Hollywood's "Dead men don't
Dance" an episode of "Tracey takes on" with
Tracey Ullman, and more recently in award-winning director
Tony Bui's latest film "Green Dragon". Hiep was
also in "Return to Pontianak". Currently she has
a feature entitled "Yellow Fever" in development
and her own animated auto-biography project "1979 Princess
of the Sea" is in selection for the Sundance screen writer's
lab.
